Biography:
Leicestershire County Cricket Club are an English county cricket club based at Grace Road, Leicester. They are also known as the Leicestershire Foxes when playing one day cricket. Leicestershire are currently (2006) the Twenty20 Cup holders after beating Nottinghamshire in a tense final at Trent Bridge. The Foxes are also in the second divisions of both the County Championship and the Pro40 one day league.
Leicestershire have also played home games at Aylestone Road in Leicester, at Hinckley, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and in Coalville inside the traditional county boundaries; and at Uppingham and Oakham over the border into Rutland .
